Course 1975 Act and Other Claims Against PRs


This course will equip private client practitioners and experienced litigators with a comprehensive but practical understanding of claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and other causes of action often deployed to acquire an interest in an estate. It will also cover actions PRs may bring against third parties and the resolution of administration disputes with beneficiaries and an in-depth discussion on costs, concentrating on the special rules and categories used by the Courts in estate litigation, with particular emphasis on the various steps that should be taken with a view to protecting the client’s position on costs

Attendance on this course will concentrate on recent interesting cases, which will leave delegates confident that their knowledge is up to date.
