After reading Law at Hull University (2:1) and passing all heads of his Finals Exam first time at Chester College of Law Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 1988 and since then has specialized in Family Law
Since 2010 he has been a Consultant with Greens Solicitors Ltd in Birmingham.
He lectures extensively in all areas of Family Law.
He is a High Court Advocate (Civil) and an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (Advocacy Children Private, Advocacy Financial Provision and Children Law Private)
He is a member of both the Law Society’s Children (Adult Party and Child) and Advanced Family Law Panels (Financial Provision, Children Law Private and Domestic Violence) and sits as a Deputy District Judge (authorised to sit on Private Children cases) as well as a Family Law Arbitrator (Children and Finances)
