This webinar is presented by expert litigator and fraud specialist, Mark Surguy and will be of interest to litigators who work with e-disclosure and other litigation technology.
It explains what predictive coding (or computer-assisted review) is, examines how it has been used in the US Courts and when it can be used in England and Wales, looking at the recent case of Pyrrho Investments Ltd v MWB Property Ltd & Ors. It will provide guidance on the type of cases that will benefit most from predictive coding so that you can determine when you should be using it.
The webinar also looks at recent case law on e-disclosure (in particular Atrium Training) and provides useful examples of how e-disclosure can go wrong and cost you the case. It will give guidance on best practice as well as illustrating the limits of keyword searching and answering key questions such as “Is scanning paper documents e-disclosure?”
